Crate loading robot.

Our custom robotic solutions for automatically loading cheese into crates ensure efficient, stable and product-friendly handling. The crate loading robot is suitable for various sizes of film-wrapped cheese and a wide range of crate types. In addition, the internal transport of both the cheese and the crates can be integrated with conveyor belts, lifts and/or AGVs.

The cheeses are formed per layer, after which the robot picks up the entire layer at once and places it into the crate with great precision. When doing so, the cheese can be loaded with a minimum of space around it. This preserves the shape of the cheese and prevents loss during further processing due to swelling. During loading, the gripper protects the film-wrapped cheese on all sides, preventing damage to the film. Beside cheese, the robot can also handle crate frames and divider sheets.

The desired capacity, layout and type of carrier determine which solution is best suited. That is why we always deliver a custom solution tailored to the customer’s specific situation and requirements.

In addition to loading, we can also automate the unloading of crates. Furthermore, we provide robotic solutions for handling all other types of carriers and packaging formats, such as depalletizing, palletizing and the unloading or loading of cheese racks. Combined solutions are also possible.
