In the past couple of weeks, 4 students from the Minor Smart Manufacturing & Robotics designed an application for us to place buckets of flowers on an auction cart and made a successful prototype of it.
During the Minor Smart Manufacturing & Robotics, students learn to program robots and vision. This fits perfectly with what we do and therefore we are happy to give these students the opportunity to apply their knowledge in practice, for which we then receive a working prototype in return.
One of the assignments we had available was to design a (modular) application for placing buckets of tulips in an auction cart. Four mechanical engineering students from The Hague University of Applied Sciences in Delft got to work on this assignment, and not without success! The prototype built by these students continually fills the entire auction cart with the filled buckets. A Techman cobot with a lift moves the buckets and vision is used to recognise the height of the tulips.
Thet students Jelle, Daniel, Maarten and Arjan working on their prototype.
This promising prototype shows that the students of the Smart Manufacturing & Robotics Minor share our drive to always make the most of challenges. Thanks Jelle, Daniel, Maarten and Arjan!

We are proud of our driving forces. We get our teeth into challenges and only let go when we have met them.
We are a driven team that has a solution for everything. If the solution is not at hand, we come up with one ourselves. Because no matter what, we always make sure it works.
