Getting youth excited about technology.

Last Friday, we participated in Techniek Tastbaar, an event to introduce youth to technology and get them excited about it. An intensive but very successful day!
Techniek Tastbaar is organised by ROC Friese Poort Sneek, giving young people a dynamic presentation of the possibilities of technology with hands-on activities, information on studies, professions and career opportunities. Together with about 50 other companies, we presented the different worlds of technology to around 1,800 students on this day. The students could, for instance, walk through a cheese factory - filled with our machines - using VR glasses and manually programme a cobot themselves. There was also a lot of interest in the steam engine brought by our colleague Chris. It was an intensive day, but the enthusiasm of the students made it easy to do.
