Adjustable side trimmer knives slicer feeder.

We developed a solution to automatically adjust the side trimming knives in our slicer feed (SLF). Previously the blades were fixed in the cutting frame, now we have a concept where the blades adjust automatically after measuring the cheese.

Until now, we mounted the blades at a fixed position in the cutting frame. From the industry we got the question if we could develop a system with which the side trimming could be adjusted continuously in order to have less cutting loss. We have developed a solution in which the size of the side trimming knives is automatically adjusted for each cheese, on the basis of the measurements of the cheese. For the drive system we use the existing motor of the height adjustment system. Therefore we can realize a nice upgrade for our customers with a minimum of resources and a low investment.
