Grating.

Our grating line is characterized by a compact layout, hygienic design and a minimum of transitions, which helps to prevent pollution. The line is built from modules connected by two conveyor belts.

The ELTEN/GRL*3000S grating line is the compact and hygienic solution for fully automatic cheese grating.

The cheese, eventually with cutting waste, is fed directly to the cutting unit, which cuts the cheese to the required size and feeds this to the grating drum in doses. Because no extra supply belt is needed, our grating line has a very compact footprint.

After grating, the cheese is fed to the mixing drum where, by means of laser measurement, the right amount of starch is accurately determined and dosed.

We have also paid extra attention to the hygienic design, for example the conveyor belts can be removed for cleaning.
