With screeching tires through the workshop.

It is now full of installations under construction again, but last month our premises were transformed into a go-kart track and we got to race through our own workplace!

During the spring event of our staff association, a real kart track was built at our location in Nieuw-Vennep as well as in Joure. Where we normally work hard on all kinds of machines, screeching tires and roaring engines could now be heard. Teams competed for the fastest time and fanatically executed various strategies and made spectacular overtakes. 

In between karting, everyone could take place in an F1 racing simulator and race for the fastest lap on the virtual circuit of Zandvoort. Some were able to set a fast time immediately, others ended up in the gravel trap. Fortunately, the experienced simracers were happy to give some tips to the beginners and some nice lap times were set! The day then ended with a tasty BBQ. 

It is not every day that you get to race with screeching tires through your own workshop and everyone enjoyed it very much. A very successful event!
