A reliable packing process starts with accurate product handling. Our sausage packing cell automates the feeding of sausages into the packaging machine, with a design that is fully geared towards hygiene and cleanability.

Two delta picker robots quickly and carefully pick up the individual sausages and place them in the packaging machine in the correct orientation. A vision system determines the exact position and orientation of each sausage in advance.

During the development of this packing cell, the focus was explicitly on hygiene and food safety. The stainless steel construction and open design make it easy to clean the cell thoroughly. Components are easily accessible, allowing cleaning and inspection to be carried out efficiently.
