Our new flexible bin picking robot cell fully automates the process of removing fragile and frozen products, such as vegetarian schnitzels, from crates and placing them accurately in trays. Without any loss of quality, and with high capacity and low operating costs.

The bin picking robot cell is equipped with advanced 3D vision technology that not only determines the exact position of each product, but also performs an optical quality check. Additionally, the integrated detection system recognizes products that are frozen together, preventing too many products ending up in a single package. The gripper has been specially developed to handle fragile products, ensuring that product quality is maintained.

Hygienic and easy to maintain

The robot cell is designed to process various unpackaged food products in a single line. Because frequent cleaning is essential due to allergens, a great deal of attention has been paid to hygiene and cleanability. By opting for bin picking, contact between the machine and the product is kept to a minimum, and thanks to the open design, all components are easily accessible for both cleaning and maintenance. This results in short changeover times between batches.

Our current Proof of Concept is being further developed into a fully-fledged application that can process up to 240 products per minute. Ideal for manufacturers of pre-cooked meat and vegetarian products who process large volumes in many different small batches every day.
