Packing sprayers
At AFA Polytek, DERO GROEP supplied a robot installation for stable stacking of unstable products at high speed. This manufacturer of injection molded products had developed a new trigger sprayer and approached DERO GROEP to realize the packing of these naturally non-stackable products.
- Total solution: including product infeed, forming and box infeed and outfeed
- Capacity: 360 sprayers per minute
- Biggest challenge: forming and stacking
A FANUC M16 robot forms the heart of the installation used to pack the trigger sprayers into outer boxes. DERO GROEP developed the entire supply, distribution and orientation of the sprayers so that they can be picked up by the robot. The sprayers are stacked on top of each other, with the filling degree being optimized by reorienting the sprayers in the robot gripper. Furthermore, the entire supply and disposal process for boxes including box sealer was also supplied by DERO GROEP.
