The cheese processing industry has been a very important market for DERO GROEP for many years. We now offer automation solutions for the entire process, from pressing and brining cheese to ready-to-ship products. But how did we get into cheese in the first place?

The great diversity in robot projects is deeply embedded in the DNA of DERO GROEP. Over the years, this has resulted in a versatile collection of unique projects that clearly demonstrate how our wide-ranging expertise has developed throughout time.

Our robot projects are characterized by a great diversity. From the start, we have not limited ourselves to one sector or application, but have sought out the breadth. Over the years, this has resulted in many special projects in a wide range of sectors.

Palletizing with robots has been around as long as industrial robots have been used. At DERO GROEP, we have also completed countless palletizing projects over the years, in a wide range of sectors and with different types of robots – from SCARA robots to cobots.

DERO started out as a service provider for other robot system integrators, focusing on supplying peripheral equipment and technical support. From day one, everything revolved around long-term relationships and mutual trust – the foundation of our success.

The history of our company is inextricably linked to the rise of industrial robotics in The Netherlands, our home country. A decade before DERO was officially founded, a group of pioneers was already experimenting with new technologies and applications.
