Supply of cheese to the slicer is done by a machine where the manipulation of the divided cheese is done by a robot.
After the cheese is divided, the pieces are placed on the desired position. The system has a minimum of components, is easy to clean and meets the EHEDGE standard.
The choice for the required slicer feeder is determined by cheese type, cheese size and capacity. The machine is available for rectangle, big block, cheddar block and round and is available for different capacities.
The trimming module cuts the top of the cheese at the desired height. Optionally also the width of the cheese can be cut to the desired size. The trimming module can be added to the slicer feeder.
Often a slicer feeder is combined with a de-foiling machine. These machines can be supplied as separate machines or as combined machines. A trim module and/or sluicing module can optionally be added to the combination.
With this machine cheeses can be divided for further processing. Feed of the cheeses and removal of the pieces must be done manually.
