Silver anniversary - golden relationship with Visser Kaas.

One of our first customers was Visser Kaas in Huizen. The special relationship between Visser Kaas and DERO GROEP started about 25 years ago with the first robot cheese treatment line and since then, several extensions have been realized by working closely together.

Recently, we delivered another robot treatment line to Visser Kaas. With this line, Visser Kaas can fulfill their new ambitions: expanding their activities and thereby strengthening their relationship with CONO Kaasmakers in Middenbeemster. Visser Kaas and DERO GROEP are therefore proud of this treatment line.

New robot treatment line
The newest robot treatment line is a multifunctional line for the treatment of cheese with plastic coating, labeling cheese and cleaning shelves. Robots unload and load the boxes and turn the cheese, which makes it possible to transfer the cheese from external to internal boxes and vice versa (so-called omboxing). The line can handle five different box types and five different cheese sizes.

With the arrival of our new robot treatment line, Visser Kaas now has seven robots in use, which are all used for the handling and treatment of cheeses! Besides the robot lines for cheese treatment, Visser Kaas also uses robots for waxing, palletising  and packaging cheeses. By using robots, all these activities can be done fully automatically on a limited footprint.
