Service day.


Our service technicians are almost always on the road, but a couple times a year they all get together during a service day. Last week it was time again and we had a service day in at our location in Joure.

Not only are our service technicians continuously working on keeping our customers' machines and installations in top condition, they also keep developing themselves. By organising and giving workshops, we share our knowledge and experience within the DERO GROEP and ensure that we never stop learning. And although knowledge is regularly shared 1-on-1 between colleagues, a service day with workshops and presentations is an excellent way to learn from each other and from external parties.

During last week's service day, the programme included training on cheese factories and PLC software troubleshooting. Given by one of our own colleagues from Joure. A whey tray mould handling line and a treatment line for mountain cheeses are currently being built in our factory in Joure, so this was a good opportunity to see these in detail with explanations from a colleague. The service technicians were also given an insight into the world of convenience by another colleague.

And although our service colleagues work closely together, they spend most of their time at our customers' premises and do not see each other on a daily basis. So this service day was also a great opportunity to see each other all together again. All in all, a successful day!
